We have a
Texas shaped swimming pool nestled among the palms, along with a hot tub
spa overlooking our private 20 acre lake with it's own island and gazebo.
There is a lighted shuffleboard court, along with horseshoe and bocci,
and exercise room, and a fully equipped wood working shop. You are welcome
to go with our builders group that builds houses in Progresso, Mexico,
for families that don't have housing. Our quilters make quilts and other
items for these families also. Our bicycle club is very active with bicycling
trips to Mexico, various parks in the area and to South Padre Island.

Road Exit off Expressway 83 and drive North to Three Mile Road {FM 1924}.
Turn left on Three Mile and go to Mayberry, where you will see our sign.
Turn right 1/2 mile to the Resort.

Canyon Lake
RV resort is located in the center of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
Out climate is subtropical and our winters are very mild.
Our recreational
hall is a very busy place with country music jams, craft shows and sales,
entertainment, bingo, card games, scheduled meals, arts and crafts, potluck
night, tours, and with a great activity director, we have many more activities
to participate in. We have installed hi-speed internet for our guests
and have a wide selection of books and puzzles in our library.
There are 419 sites with full hook-ups.
Cable and phone are available through local companies. We are in a country
setting and are a quiet but active park. We are within 15-20 minutes of
major shopping areas of Mission and Mc Allen. We are located about 10
miles from Mexico and close to the World Birding Center. There are State
Parks and a National Wildlife Refuge within a 1/2 hour drive. We have
many birds that call our lake home during the winter.
